El unico Yashica que he probado o tenido es el ML 28, que sin duda alguna es una gran lente, sobre todo por le precio que se mueve, auqnue eso si, el Distagon 28mm juega en una liga muy distinta, cosa que tmaibén se paga.

Es decir, los yashica, si tenemos en cuenta su precio, suelen ser objetivos buenos, aunque claro, en el renago medio alto hay un mercado tan amplio....jejejeje

Hablando de la montura C/Y, en Leitax exponen:

El CZ Planar T* 85/1.4 no aparece en este listado, como podéis comprobar, en cambio tiene un tutorial en otra sección de la web, explicando cómo modificarlo a montura M42. En eBay he visto que denominan a la montura de este objetivo como Contax MMJ.

¿Qué diferencias hay? Desearía saber si el término MMJ se emplea en otras ópticas o si existen más variantes.

Bueno, pues me respondo yo mismo.

For Contax Carl Zeiss C/Y (Contax/Yashica) mount SLR lenses, there are four different batches in the market: AEG, AEJ, MMG and MMJ.

Both AEG & MMG are made in Germany by Carl Zeiss, while AEJ & MMJ are made in Japan by Kyocera (or former Yashica).

Most lenses were under the production of Carl Zeiss Germany, and then moved to Japan for cost reduction. That's why earlier version was mostly made in Germany, and latest was made in Japan.

Normally, the generations would be AEG-MMG-MMJ, AEG-AEJ-MMJ or AEJ-MMJ which depend on different lenses. Surely, there are also AEG, AEJ, MMG or MMJ only version for some lenses, also there is very rare prototype lenses.

Amonist the production duration & quantity, MMG version is the shortest with lesser quantity. Most lenses were produced MMG version in one or two batches and then followed moving to Japan for further production.

Due to the cost problem, you will find Carl Zeiss seldom make 35mm format lenses in Germany anymore. Ever, there is any, such as ZM Leica mount 15mm lens, the price is not an easy affordable for most users.

So, owning a Contax MMG version lens could be a way to enjoy the superb optical performance of Carl Zeiss Germany.
